Are you interested in turning your photography hobby into a part-time or full-time business? Attend this free studio lighting and posing intro to see if the WSP Professional Program is right for you.
On October 18th at 11:00 am, Washington School of Photography will be hosting their professional program preview for prospective students. I will be kicking off the preview with a one-hour crash course in studio lighting and posing where I will cover:
- The basics of studio lighting equipment
- A demonstration of lighting techniques and it’s applicability to “natural light” photography
- Fundamental concepts of posing a model or subject
I guarantee you’ll come away from this crash course with at least one or two pieces of knowledge that will help you improve your day-to-day photography whether you work in a studio already or rely on natural light.
Even if you aren’t interested in committing to a year-long photography program, this will still be a great introduction to Washington Artworks, Washington School of Photography, it’s creative space, and the multitude of classes and workshops that it offers.
